Rehearsals: Wednesday from 7:45 pm to 9:30 pm
This group sings mainly pop, gospel and musicals although there is also an emphasis on classical music. As we usually have more women than men who are interested in singing, we attempt to encourage men to start in this group with lighter repertoire throughout the winter term. The choir counts about 80 members.
On Mon 8th Dec. at 8pm and on Sun. 11th Dec. at 3pm two spiritual and gospel concerts were sung at the main hall of the Vienna University. In the spring of 2012, concerts with favorite musicals and the Mozart Requiem will be performed. Due to popular demand, the Carmina Burana will be repeated in the main hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus in June 2012. In June 2012 this group will undertake a concert tour to Italy.
In the summer term 2012 all voices will be accepted. An audition is required for women’s voices. Men can participate for one semester without auditions! So we are looking for daring men.
